James Zumberge

James Zumberge is a principal on the investment team based in our New York office. He originally joined Providence in 2009 as an associate, before attending business school. Mr. Zumberge is currently a director of Anthology, TCP, Tempo Music and Tenstreet. He previously served as a director or board observer of Ascend Learning, AutoTrader Group, Blackboard, ikaSystems, IRONMAN, RentPath, Survey Sampling International and Vector Solutions. Prior to joining Providence, Mr. Zumberge was an analyst in Merrill Lynch’s media and telecommunications investment banking group. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University.
