Ahana Maken is a Senior Vice President at Providence Equity Partners L.L.C. (“Providence”), a private equity firm specializing in growth-oriented investments in media, communications, education, and technology. 

At Providence, Ahana plays a central role in sourcing, executing, and supporting portfolio company growth. Her recent assignments include advising on the sale of a majority stake in Tempo Music to Warner Music Group, the firm’s investment in Modern Campus (where she currently serves on the board), and the pending take–private of Cantaloupe Inc. by 365 Retail Markets, which is expected to have an equity value of approximately $848M. She also leads Providence’s associate recruiting and advances the firm’s responsible investing efforts through initiatives such as the Women’s Roundtable.

Ahana received her undergraduate degree in economics and math from Columbia University.
