Jonathan Nelson is Providence's founder and chief executive officer. Mr. Nelson serves on the board of directors of The Chernin Group and Univision Communications. He has also served as a director of numerous other Providence portfolio companies, including Bresnan Communications, Eircom plc, Hulu, Language Line, MetroNet (now AT&T Canada), MLS Media, VoiceStream Wireless (now Deutsche Telekom), Warner Music Group, Western Wireless Corporation (now AT&T Corp.) and Yankees Entertainment and Sports Network (YES).

Mr. Nelson has been a private equity investor for over 30 years. He founded Providence in 1989. Previously, he was a managing director of Narragansett Capital, which he joined in 1983. At Narragansett Capital, Mr. Nelson specialized in private equity investments in the cable television, broadcasting and publishing sectors. Mr. Nelson received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University. He is a trustee of Brown University, The Rockefeller University and Institute for Advanced Study. Mr. Nelson is a member of the Board of Dean's Advisors at Harvard Business School and serves on the board of the Newport Festivals Foundation.

John Hahn is a senior managing director based in our London office. He leads the firm's international private equity investment activities and is a member of the firm’s investment, portfolio review and operating committees. Mr. Hahn is a director of Chime Communications, MásMóvil (Spain) and NACE Schools (Spain). He was previously a director of Digiturk (Turkey), eircom (Ireland), Casema (the Netherlands), Kabel Deutschland (Germany), Recoletos (Spain), Ono (Spain), Com Hem (Sweden), Volia (Ukraine) and UMI (India).

Prior to joining Providence in 2000, Mr. Hahn was a managing director at Morgan Stanley. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mr. Hahn worked with Price Waterhouse and Federal Data Corporation. He received a Master of Business Administration from the Anderson School at the University of California, Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.

Michael Dominguez is a managing director based in our Providence office. He leads the firm's private equity investment activities in the media and communications sectors and is a member of the firm’s investment, portfolio review and operating committees. Mr. Dominguez is currently a director of The Chernin Group, EdgeConneX, OEConnection, RentPath, Topgolf and ZeniMax Media. He was previously a director of AutoTrader, Bresnan Communications, CDW, GLM, Learfield Sports, PanAmSat and Tele1. Prior to joining Providence in 1998, Mr. Dominguez worked for Salomon Smith Barney in corporate finance, where he focused on the communications industry. Previously, he held positions with Morgan Stanley and Andersen Consulting. Mr. Dominguez received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from Bucknell University.

Peter Wilde is a managing director based in our Providence office. He leads the firm's private equity investment activities in the education and information sectors and is a member of the firms’ investment, portfolio review and operating committees. Mr. Wilde is also chairman of Providence Strategic Growth and is a member of its investment committee. Mr. Wilde is currently a director of Asurion, Blackboard, Galileo Global Education, KPA, NACE Schools, Study Group and Vistage. Previous boards include Archipelago Learning, Ascend Learning, Decision Resources, PADI and Vector Solutions. Prior to joining Providence in 2002, Mr. Wilde was a general partner at BCI Partners, where he began his career in private equity in 1992. While at BCI, he was involved in many of BCI's investment activities in media, education and information services companies. Prior to BCI, Mr. Wilde worked at LaSalle Partners in the acquisitions group. Mr. Wilde received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from Colorado College.

Josh Empson is a managing director based in our New York office. Mr. Empson was previously a director of Learfield Sports and MLS Media. Prior to joining Providence in 2013, he was a partner at NantCapital, an investment firm he co-founded, focused on media, mobile technology and healthcare software and services. Previously, Mr. Empson was a managing director at Forstmann Little & Co. where he led several investments in media and sports. Prior to Forstmann, he held various positions at United Online and NBC. Mr. Empson received a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University.

Patrick Dunn is a managing director based in our Providence office. Mr. Dunn most recently served as a partner and portfolio manager of Northern Pines Capital, a firm he co-founded in 2009. At Northern Pines, Mr. Dunn focused on publicly traded equities in the TMT and consumer sectors. Prior to Northern Pines, he worked at Raptor Group and Tudor Investment Corporation, investing across a variety of asset classes. Mr. Dunn started his investment career at Morgan Stanley, working in both high yield capital markets and the New York based technology M&A group. Mr. Dunn received a Bachelor of Arts from Bowdoin College.

Michael Gray is a managing director based in our Providence office. He is currently a director of Grupo TorreSur and Univision Communications and an observer to the board of Asurion. Prior to joining Providence in 2004, Mr. Gray worked for First Union Capital Partners, where he focused on media, wireless and information services investments. Mr. Gray received a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina.

Will Hughes is a managing director based in our Providence office. He is currently a director of KPA and Vistage. Previously, he was a director of Vector Solutions. Prior to joining Providence in 2009, Mr. Hughes was an associate at Summit Partners where he focused on growth equity and middle market investments. Previously, Mr. Hughes was special assistant to the CEO at Netdecisions Group and an analyst in Lehman Brothers' technology investment banking group. Mr. Hughes received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College.

Scott Marimow is a managing director based in our Providence office. Mr. Marimow is currently a director of RentPath and Topgolf and an observer to the boards of EZLinks Golf and ZeniMax Media. Past Providence portfolio companies include AutoTrader Group, Hulu, Learfield Sports, MLS Media and Newport Television. Prior to joining Providence in 2004, Mr. Marimow was an analyst in Deutsche Bank's media investment banking group. Mr. Marimow received a Bachelor of Science from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Davis Noell is a managing director based in our New York office. Mr. Noell is currently a director of The Chernin Group, DoubleVerify and OEConnection. He was previously a director of GLM, Stream Global Services, SunGard Data Systems and World Triathlon Corporation. Prior to joining Providence in 2003, Mr. Noell worked in Deutsche Bank's media investment banking group. He is a trustee of the Gilman School in Baltimore, MD. Mr. Noell received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

David Phillips is a managing director based in our Providence office. Mr. Phillips is currently a director of Blackboard and Vistage. Previous board memberships include Archipelago Learning, Ascend Learning, CSDVRS, PADI and Vector Solutions. Prior to joining Providence in 2005, Mr. Phillips was a Luce Scholar and assistant director of business development at Hutchison Whampoa China. Previously, Mr. Phillips worked at Goldman Sachs in the principal investment area. Mr. Phillips received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University.

Marc Puglia is Providence's chief financial officer and a managing director based in our Providence office. Mr. Puglia is currently a director of Merganser Capital Management. Prior to joining Providence in 2009, Mr. Puglia was a senior manager at KPMG in the economic and valuation services group. Previously, Mr. Puglia held various finance and consulting positions at The Stanley Works and Arthur Andersen. Mr. Puglia received a Juris Doctor from the Quinnipiac School of Law, a Master in International Business from the Grenoble Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut.

Chris Ragona is a managing director based in our Providence office. Mr. Ragona is currently a director of EdgeConneX. Prior to joining Providence in 2007, Mr. Ragona was a vice president with GTCR, where he worked primarily on investments in the transaction processing, technology services and business process outsourcing industries. Previously, Mr. Ragona was with Oak Hill Capital Management, McKinsey & Company and Bowles Hollowell Conner & Company. Mr. Ragona received a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University.

Dany Rammal is a managing director based in our London office. Mr. Rammal is currently a director of Galileo Global Education, NACE Schools and Study Group. Prior to joining Providence in 2008, Mr. Rammal was a vice president in the media and communications group within investment banking at Morgan Stanley in London, where he worked on transactions across a variety of sectors including fixed and wireless telecommunications, cable and satellite. Previously, Mr. Rammal worked in Paris as a management consultant with both KPMG Consulting and Diamondcluster International. Mr. Rammal received a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD and a Master of Science in Communications Engineering from L'École Supérieure d'Électricité.

Roderik Schlösser is a managing director based in our London office. Mr. Schlösser is currently a director of Chime Communications and Superstruct Entertainment. Prior to joining Providence in 2006, Mr. Schlösser was an analyst in the telecommunications corporate finance group at Deutsche Bank. Mr. Schlösser received a Master of Science in Business Administration from Tilburg University.

Michael Song is a managing director focused on portfolio operations and is based in our Providence office. Prior to joining Providence in 2010, Mr. Song worked at RSA, the security division of EMC, where he led product marketing for the SecurID product line. Prior to joining EMC, Mr. Song was a consultant with Bain & Company. Mr. Song received a Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, a Master of Science from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois.

Robert Sudo is a managing director based in our London office. Mr. Sudo is currently a director of Ambassador Theatre Group, Bitė, HSE24, MásMóvil and Volia. Prior to joining Providence in 2004, Mr. Sudo worked as an analyst for Goldman Sachs in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Mr. Sudo received a Diploma in Business Administration from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management.

Karim Tabet is a managing director based in our London office. Mr. Tabet is currently a director of Bitė and Galileo Global Education. Previous boards include Digiturk (Turkey), Com Hem (Sweden), Casema (Netherlands) and Crown Media International. Prior to joining Providence in 2002, Mr. Tabet was an associate in the principal investment area at Goldman Sachs. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Mr. Tabet worked in mergers and acquisitions at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Tabet received a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate of École Polytechnique.

Andrew Tisdale is a managing director based in our London office. Mr. Tisdale is currently a director of Ambassador Theatre Group, Chime Communications, CloserStill Media and HSE24 and previously served on the boards of Clarion Events, M7 and ONO. Prior to joining Providence in 2008, Mr. Tisdale was co-head of the global media and communications group and a member of Morgan Stanley’s management committee for investment banking. Mr. Tisdale received a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University. Mr. Tisdale speaks French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and conversational German. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the Yale School of Drama and the Space Innovation Council at CalTech.

Glenn Creamer is a senior managing director emeritus and a senior advisor based in our Providence office, having previously served as a senior managing director on Providence’s investment team. Mr. Creamer has been with Providence since its founding and has served on the boards of many Providence portfolio companies over his 30 years as a private equity investor. Prior to Providence, Mr. Creamer was a vice president of Narragansett Capital, which he joined in 1988. Previously, Mr. Creamer worked in investment banking at Merrill Lynch and J.P. Morgan. Mr. Creamer received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University. Mr. Creamer is chairman of the Catholic Relief Services Foundation and a director of various organizations, including the American Investment Council, American Friends of Jamaica and Mustard Seed Communities. He also serves on the Board of Dean’s Advisors at the Harvard Business School.

Paul Salem is a senior managing director emeritus based in our Providence office, having previously served as a senior managing director on Providence’s investment team. Mr. Salem is currently a director of Grupo TorreSur. Mr. Salem previously served as a director of Asurion, Eircom, Madison River Telecom, MetroNet (now AT&T Canada), PanAmSat, Tele1 Europe, Verio, Wired Magazine and several other Providence investments. Mr. Salem established our London office in 1999 and returned to our Providence office in 2001. Prior to joining Providence in 1992, Mr. Salem worked for Morgan Stanley in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he spent four years with Prudential Investment Corporation, an affiliate of Prudential Insurance, where his responsibilities included private placement financings, leveraged buyout transactions and helping establish Prudential’s European office. Mr. Salem received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University. Mr. Salem is chairman of non-profit Year Up and a board member of Edesia Global Nutrition.

Kevin Ford is a principal based in our Providence office. He is currently a director of KPA and OEConnection. Prior to joining Providence in 2015, Mr. Ford was a vice president at GTCR, where he focused on investments in the transaction processing, software and information services sectors. Previously, Mr. Ford was an investment banking analyst at Credit Suisse. Mr. Ford received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.

Tom Hodges is a director based in our London office. He is currently a director of HSE24. Prior to joining Providence in 2008, Mr. Hodges worked as an analyst in the mergers and acquisitions group at Citigroup Global Markets. Mr. Hodges received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Jennifer Hoh is a principal based in our New York office. Prior to joining Providence in 2014, Ms. Hoh was with Bain Capital where she evaluated investments and supported portfolio companies across sectors. Previously, Ms. Hoh worked at Bain & Company as a strategy consultant. Ms. Hoh received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College.

Edward Hughes is a director based in our London office. Mr. Hughes is currently a director of Bitė and NACE Schools. Prior to joining Providence in 2013, Mr. Hughes was a vice president in the telecommunications, media and technology investment banking group at J.P. Morgan in London. Mr. Hughes received a Bachelor of Science from Durham University.

David Simpson is a principal based in our Providence office. He is currently a director of DoubleVerify. Prior to joining Providence in 2014, Mr. Simpson was a vice president at Spectrum Equity, where he focused on investments in the internet, software and information services sectors. Previously, Mr. Simpson worked at Battery Ventures, General Atlantic and Mercer Management Consulting. Mr. Simpson received a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University.

Lucy Stamell Dobrin is a vice president based in our New York office. She is currently a director of DoubleVerify, EdgeConneX and OEConnection. Prior to joining Providence in 2011, Ms. Dobrin worked as an analyst in the financial sponsors investment banking group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Ms. Dobrin received a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania.

Sofian Lignier is a vice president based in our London office. Prior to joining Providence in 2016, Mr. Lignier was an associate at Bregal Capital, a middle market European private equity firm, where he worked on investments across the education and industrials sectors. Prior to Bregal Capital, Mr. Lignier was an associate at Credit Suisse in the investment banking department, initially based in Dubai and then London. Mr. Lignier is a graduate of École des Mines de Paris.

Christian Loelke is a vice president based in our London office. Prior to joining Providence in 2018, Mr. Loelke worked at Aleph Capital Partners, a European private equity firm, where he focused, among others, on investments in the TMT and financial services sectors. Prior to Aleph Capital, Mr. Loelke was an analyst in J.P. Morgan’s diversified industrials M&A investment banking team in London. Mr. Loelke received a Master of Arts in Banking & Finance from the University of St. Gallen, as well as a Master of Science in International Management from ESADE Business School.

Mike Monagle is a vice president focused on portfolio operations and is based in our Providence office. Before joining Providence in 2018, Mr. Monagle was vice president of operations at Catalant Technologies, where he started and ran the solutions business including product strategy, sales engineering and customer delivery and success. Previously, he was a project leader at The Boston Consulting Group and served as chief of staff to the chairman and CEO of Elsevier, the scientific, technology and medical information division of Reed Elsevier plc. Mr. Monagle received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University.

Byron Scott is a vice president based in our New York office. Mr. Scott originally joined Providence in 2011 as an associate before attending business school. Previously, Mr. Scott was an investment banking analyst at Moelis & Company and UBS. Mr. Scott received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University.

James Zumberge is a vice president based in our New York office. Mr. Zumberge originally joined Providence in 2009 as an associate before attending business school. He is currently a director of Blackboard. Previously, Mr. Zumberge was an analyst in Merrill Lynch’s media and telecommunications investment banking group. Mr. Zumberge received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar, and a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University.

Kevin Boudreau is a senior associate based in our Providence office. Mr. Boudreau originally joined Providence in 2013 as an associate before attending business school. Previously, he was an investment banking analyst at Moelis & Company. Mr. Boudreau received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.

Christoph Martin is a senior associate based in our London office. Prior to joining Providence in 2015, Mr. Martin worked as an analyst in the investment banking group at Morgan Stanley in London. Mr. Martin received a Bachelor of Science from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Alexander Mishenin is a senior associate based in our London office. Prior to joining Providence in 2016, Mr. Mishenin worked as an analyst in the investment banking group at J.P. Morgan in London. Mr. Mishenin received a Master in Finance and Law from Duisenberg School of Finance and a Bachelor of Business Informatics from the Higher School of Economics, Moscow.

Arnaud Moreels is a senior associate based in our London office. Prior to joining Providence in 2014, Mr. Moreels was an associate in the diversified industries and real assets investment banking group at J.P. Morgan in London. Mr. Moreels received a Master of Business Engineering from Solvay Brussels School.

Steve Murray is a senior associate based in our Providence office. Prior to joining Providence in 2012, Mr. Murray worked as an analyst in the mergers & acquisitions investment banking group at Citigroup. Mr. Murray received a Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University.

Dipish Rai is a senior associate based in our London office. Mr. Rai originally joined Providence in 2010 as an associate in the New Delhi office before attending business school. Previously, Mr. Rai founded a technology start-up and worked as a management consultant at Booz & Company in New York. Mr. Rai received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, a Master of Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology.

Tobias Richter is a senior associate based in our London office. Prior to joining Providence in 2017, Mr. Richter worked at Francisco Partners and CPPIB. Mr. Richter received a Master in Finance and Private Equity from the London School of Economics.

Josh Selip is a senior associate based in our New York office. He is currently a director of DoubleVerify and KPA. Mr. Selip originally joined Providence in 2011 as an associate before attending business school. Previously, Mr. Selip was an investment banking analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Mr. Selip received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University.

Daniel Zwicky is a senior associate based in our London office. Prior to joining Providence in 2016, Mr. Zwicky worked as an analyst in the investment banking group at Credit Suisse in London. Mr. Zwicky received a Master in Finance and CEMS MIM from ESADE Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen.

Rabih Aouad is an associate based in our New York office. Prior to joining Providence in 2018, Mr. Aouad worked as an investment banking analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Mr. Aouad received a Bachelor of Science from Columbia University.

Siddhant Bhatt is an associate based in our New York office. Prior to joining Providence in 2016, Mr. Bhatt worked as an analyst in the media and communications investment banking group at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Bhatt received a Bachelor of Science from The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science at Columbia University.

Stefano Bosio is an associate based in our London office. Prior to joining Providence in 2017, Mr. Bosio worked as an analyst in the investment banking group at J.P. Morgan in London. Mr. Bosio received a diplôme de grande école from ESCP in Paris.

Paul Donahue is an associate based in our New York office. Prior to joining Providence in 2017, Mr. Donahue worked as an analyst in the technology, media and telecommunications investment banking group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Mr. Donahue received a Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College.

Adam Klecka is an associate based in our London office. Prior to joining Providence in 2018, Mr. Klecka worked as an analyst in the investment banking group at J.P. Morgan in London. Mr. Klecka received a Master of Arts in Banking and Finance from University St. Gallen and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Charles University in Prague.

Yu Luo is an associate based in our London office. Prior to joining Providence in 2017, Ms. Luo worked as an associate on the TMT team at Lazard in Paris. Ms. Luo received a Master of Finance from HEC Paris and a Bachelor of Arts from Shanghai International Studies University.

Noy Meshulami is an associate focused on portfolio operations and is based in our New York office. Prior to joining Providence in 2017, Mr. Meshulami worked as a business analyst at McKinsey & Company. Mr. Meshulami received a Bachelor of Science from New York University.

Michael Pappas is an associate based in our Providence office. Prior to joining Providence in 2017, Mr. Pappas worked as an investment banking analyst in the financial sponsors group at Evercore. Mr. Pappas received a Master of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida.

Stephen Monk is an associate based in our Providence office. Prior to joining Providence in 2018, Mr. Monk worked as an investment banking analyst at Deutsche Bank. Mr. Monk received a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University.

Parth Thakkar is an associate based in our Providence office. Prior to joining Providence in 2017, Mr. Thakkar worked as an analyst in the communications investment banking group at Evercore. Mr. Thakkar received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan.

Matt Ting is an associate based in our New York office. Prior to joining Providence in 2017, Mr. Ting worked as an analyst in the technology investment banking group at Evercore. Mr. Ting graduated from the Ivey Business School at Western University.

Till van Dorp is an associate based in our London office. Prior to joining Providence in 2018, Mr. van Dorp worked as an associate in the investment banking group at Goldman Sachs in London. Mr. van Dorp received a Master of Science in Finance from Bocconi University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from European Business School (Oestrich-Winkel).

Tommaso Verderame is an associate based in our New York office. Prior to joining Providence in 2018, Mr. Verderame worked as an investment banking analyst at Centerview Partners. Mr. Verderame received a Bachelor of Science from Columbia University.

Eric Westphal is an associate based in our Providence office. Prior to joining Providence in 2016, Mr. Westphal worked as an investment banking analyst in the financial institutions group at J.P. Morgan. Mr. Westphal received a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College.

Edwin Yun is an associate based in our Providence office. Prior to joining Providence in 2018, Mr. Yun worked as an investment banking analyst at Barclays Investment Bank. Mr. Yun received a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Rebecca Katzen is an analyst based in our Providence office. Prior to joining Providence in 2018, Ms. Katzen worked as an investment banking analyst at RBC Capital Markets. Ms. Katzen received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oregon.

Andrew Shon is an analyst based in our Providence office. Prior to joining Providence in 2018, Mr. Shon worked as an investment banking analyst at William Blair. Mr. Shon received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario.

Mark Hastings is chief executive officer of Providence Strategic Growth and is based in our Providence office. Mr. Hastings is currently a director of Abacus Next, Arcoro, Burning Glass Technologies, EverCommerce, Jobcase, Netsurion, Property Brands, Skybox Security, SnapApp and Vertical Knowledge. Prior to joining Providence in 2013, Mr. Hastings most recently served as managing partner and founder of Garvin Hill Capital Partners. Prior to spinning out of CIBC to form Garvin Hill in 2009, Mr. Hastings led CIBC’s technology focused growth equity team in the United States. At CIBC, he developed the successful investment strategy and recruited the team. He was the primary deal originator and investment team leader. Prior to joining CIBC, he was a principal and general partner at BCI Partners. Mr. Hastings started his investment career at Edison Ventures. He received a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts from Colorado College.

Lori Ali is a managing director on the Providence Strategic Growth team based in our Providence office. Ms. Ali works with employees across PSG to enhance individual performance and growth, optimize firmwide dynamics and culture, and oversee talent management. Before joining Providence in 2018, Ms. Ali was an executive coach for several years, applying her executive coaching training and previous fifteen years of diverse business and management experience to advance the growth and development of her business clients. Prior to being an executive coach, Ms. Ali was on the leadership team for several years at Outside The Classroom (now EverFi), as part of a change management effort to revamp the organization for acquisition. Ms. Ali spent the majority of the early part of her career at the Advisory Board Company, overseeing its account management division and specializing in taking new products to market. She is a graduate of the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology’s graduate program in executive coaching and received a Bachelor of Arts from Hobart & William Smith Colleges.

Bill Aliber is a managing director on the Providence Strategic Growth team based in Kansas City. Mr. Aliber works with PSG portfolio companies to enhance various financial related activities. Mr. Aliber has over 20 years of experience as a CFO. Prior to joining Providence in 2018, Mr. Aliber was the CFO of Ascend Learning, a leading provider of educational content, software and analytics. Ascend Learning was owned by Providence for ten years and Mr. Aliber was the CFO for nearly nine of those years, during which time revenue increased from $150 million to over $450 million and the company completed numerous acquisitions. Prior to Ascend Learning, Mr. Aliber was the CFO of Hallmark Card’s various entertainment related businesses. Mr. Aliber received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University.

John Clancy is a managing director on the Providence Strategic Growth team based in our Providence office. He is currently a director of Arcoro, Boston Logic, EverCommerce and SnapApp. Mr. Clancy has over 20 years of experience in building high growth, market leading software and technology enabled businesses.

Prior to joining Providence in 2016, Mr. Clancy was the president of Radius Worldwide, the leading provider of international business services and software. Previously, he was the CEO and president of Azuki Systems, now part of Ericsson, a leading provider of over-the-top video delivery to mobile and tablet devices. Mr. Clancy was also the president of Iron Mountain Digital, where he grew revenues from $40 million to $250 million over a 5-year period. Prior to Iron Mountain, he was the COO at Connected Corporation, an early pioneer in the software as a service (SaaS) market and leader in PC data protection.

Mr. Clancy works with PSG portfolio companies on strategic planning, operational excellence and to help maximize go to market opportunities. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Assumption College.

Marco Ferrari is a managing director on the Providence Strategic Growth team and is based in our Providence office. Mr. Ferrari is currently a director of Abacus Next, Boston Logic, Government Brands, Pineapple Payments, Snap! Raise, Therapy Brands, Tribute Technology and YourCause. Prior to joining Providence in 2014, Mr. Ferrari was a Principal at BV Investment Partners, where he focused on information services, communications and business services investments. Prior to BV Investment Partners, he was an investment partner at Siemens Venture Capital. Mr. Ferrari received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University.

Tom Reardon is a managing director on the Providence Strategic Growth team and is based in our Providence office. Mr. Reardon is currently a director of FluentStream, Formstack, INE, SignUpGenius, Skybox Security and YourCause. Prior to joining Providence in 2015, Mr. Reardon was a general partner at WestView Capital Partners, where he focused on software and technology-enabled business service investments. Prior to joining WestView, he was a director at CIBC Capital Partners. Before CIBC, Mr. Reardon co-founded Revolution Partners as an associate and worked at Robertson Stephens & Co. as an analyst in the software group. Mr. Reardon received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College.

Brian Shin is a managing director on the Providence Strategic Growth team and is based in our Providence office. Mr. Shin has 20 years of experience building high growth technology companies and 12 years as an angel investor or early shareholder in over 40 technology startup companies, including HubSpot, Drift, Vesper, Misfit, Kayak, Sirtris Pharma, Frequency Therapeutics and Atrium. Prior to joining Providence in 2018, Mr. Shin was a partner with In-Q-Tel, a strategic investment firm supporting the missions of the United States Intelligence Community. Before In-Q-Tel, Mr. Shin was founder and CEO of Visible Measures, a venture-backed video analytics company that was acquired in 2017, and founder and chairman of Mustbin, a venture-backed mobile security company that was also acquired in 2017. Mr. Shin received a Master of Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University.

Gopi Vaddi is a managing director on the Providence Strategic Growth team. Mr. Vaddi is currently a director of Anju Software, Arcoro, Conversica, LogicMonitor, Patron Technology and Untangle. Prior to joining Providence in 2012, Mr. Vaddi was an executive director at J.P. Morgan. Previously, Mr. Vaddi worked at Columbia Capital as a principal focusing on growth equity and venture investments in communications, media and technology. Prior to Columbia Capital, Mr. Vaddi held operating and research roles for Cisco Systems, Avici Systems and Sprint Corporation. Mr. Vaddi received a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar, a Master of Electrical Engineering with Honors from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Tech University.

John Marquis is a principal on the Providence Strategic Growth team and is based in our Providence office. Mr. Marquis is currently a director of EverCommerce, Logic Monitor, Property Brands and Vacation Brands. Prior to joining Providence Strategic Growth in 2014, Mr. Marquis was an investment banking associate at Needham & Company and an analyst at Citigroup. Previously, he was an associate at Metalmark Capital, a New York-based private equity firm. Before Metalmark, he was an investment banking analyst at Merrill Lynch’s New York office working in the Telecommunications and Media Group. Mr. Stone received a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia.

Govind Anand is a vice president on the Providence Strategic Growth team and is based in our Providence office. Mr. Anand is currently a director of Formstack and INE. Prior to joining Providence in 2018, Mr. Anand was an investor with Spectrum Equity, a Boston- and San Francisco-based growth equity firm, where he focused on investments in the software, healthcare IT and data & information services sectors. At Spectrum, Mr. Anand served on the board of Tenstreet and was a board observer at Verisys. Previously, he worked in the technology M&A investment banking group at Barclays in New York. Mr. Anand received a Bachelor of Science from UNC-Chapel Hill where he majored in Finance and in Philosophy.

Chris Andrews is a vice president on the Providence Strategic Growth team and is based in our Providence office. Mr. Andrews is currently a director of Patron Technology and YourCause. Prior to joining the Providence Strategic Growth team in 2015, Mr. Andrews was on Providence’s Valuation and Strategic Analysis team since 2010. Previously, he completed GE Capital’s two-year Financial Management Program. Chris Nesbitt is a vice president on the Providence Strategic Growth team and is based in our Providence office. Mr. Nesbitt is currently a director of Pineapple Payments. Prior to joining Providence in 2016, Mr. Russ was a senior associate with Bertram Capital, a Bay Area-based private equity firm, where he focused on investments in the consumer and e-commerce sectors. Ishan Sachdev is a vice president on the Providence Strategic Growth team and is based in our Providence office. Prior to joining Providence in 2018, Mr. Sachdev was co-founder and managing director of MIT Alumni Angels, focusing on seed and pre-seed investments in technology startups. Previously, he worked at iPay Technologies, a growth-stage payments startup, where he led a successful process to sell the company, at Bain Capital Ventures as a venture capital & growth equity investor, and at Goldman Sachs as a proprietary credit trader. He also spent time at the U.S. Department of the Treasury working on financial markets policy. Mr. Sachdev received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, where he graduated with Distinction, and a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science from MIT, both in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

Keyur Patel is a senior associate on the Providence Strategic Growth team and is based in our Providence office. Prior to joining Providence in 2016, Mr. Patel was an investment banking analyst at RBC Capital Markets in the mergers and acquisitions group, with a focus on the technology sector. Previously, Mr. Patel was a financial analyst at Lear Corporation, where he focused on M&A and business development. Mr. Patel received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.

Tullio Purtill is a senior associate on the Providence Strategic Growth team and is based in our Providence office. Mr. Purtill is currently a director of Netsurion. Prior to Fortress, Mr. Chestnut founded Atlantic-Pacific Capital’s Chicago office. Earlier in his career, Mr. Chestnut held positions at The Northern Trust Company in their institutional sales and client service and risk and performance services divisions, as well as Duchossois Industries, both located in Chicago. Mr. Chestnut received a Bachelor of Arts from University of Notre Dame.

Lisa Lee is a managing director based in our New York office, where she focuses on business development activities. Prior to joining Providence in 2015, Ms. Lee was a managing director at CVC Capital Partners where she was responsible for managing the firm’s North American investor relations and fundraising activities. Before CVC, Ms. Lee worked at Merrill Lynch, first in the mergers & acquisitions group in New York and then in the private equity funds group in London where she was responsible for origination and distribution of alternate asset funds in Europe. Ms. Lee started her career with A.T. Kearney where she worked across North America and South Korea. Ms. Lee received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University.

Charles Vernudachi is a managing director based in our London office, where he focuses on business development activities in Europe. Prior to joining Providence in 2014, Mr. Vernudachi was a managing director with Eaton Partners in London, where he oversaw the EMEA distribution of private equity funds and hedge funds. Previously, Mr. Vernudachi was a senior client executive with SEB in London where he was responsible for the distribution of alternative solutions in Europe. From 2007 to 2008, Mr Vernudachi co-founded a London based placement agent of alternative funds. Prior to that, Mr. Vernudachi was an executive director in the securities division of Goldman Sachs where he was responsible for the distribution of liquid and structured credit products. Mr. Vernudachi started his career with Natixis in Paris. Mr. Vernudachi received a Bachelor of Science from the University Paris Dauphine. He is a CAIA Charter Member and co-founder of the Paris chapter.

Roman Bejger is Providence's general counsel and chief compliance officer and is based in our Providence office. Prior to joining Providence in 2009, Mr. Bejger was a senior associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher. Previously, Mr. Bejger was an associate at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison and before that, Goodwin Procter. Mr. Bejger received a Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School and a Bachelor of Science from SUNY Buffalo.

Stacey Tramonti is global head of administration and located in our Providence office. She focuses on daily operations, oversees the administrative staff, facilities management and investor events for Providence. In addition to her role as global head of administration, Ms. Tramonti has been the executive assistant to Providence’s Founder and CEO, Jonathan Nelson, for over 34 years. She began her career as a support role to Mr. Nelson at Narragansett Capital in 1984 and later when he founded Providence Equity in 1989.

Paul Stocker is chief technology officer and located in our Providence office. He joined Providence in our London office in 2007 and relocated to our Providence office in 2011. Prior to joining Providence in 2007, Mr. Stocker was a project and IT manager at InTrust Limited with a focus on application development and business development.

George Cobleigh is a director in our Providence office, where he focuses on taxation. Prior to joining Providence in 2004, Mr. Cobleigh was a tax principal at Ernst & Young. Mr. Cobleigh received a Masters from Bryant University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Rhode Island. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Brian Boudreau is a director in the valuation and strategic analysis group and is based in our Providence office. Prior to joining Providence in 2011, Mr. Boudreau was a software engineer at Netezza Corporation. Mr. Boudreau received a Master of Business Administration from Boston College and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Tufts University.

Rob Daly is a director in the valuation and strategic analysis group and is based in our Providence office. Prior to joining Providence in 2009, Mr. Daly worked for Duff & Phelps’ valuation advisory services practice. Mr. Daly received a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College. He is a CFA charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant.

Dan Holland is a director based in our Providence office, where he focuses on business development activities. Prior to joining Providence in 2012, Mr. Holland was a business development associate at Mad River Investors, a fund of funds. Previously, Mr. Holland was a senior client relationship manager at Brown Brothers Harriman. Mr. Holland received a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science from Boston College.

Siniša Krnić is a director based in our London office and is responsible for European tax structuring and compliance. Prior to joining Providence in 2007, Mr. Krnić worked at Deloitte for nine years and most recently served as a director in the mergers and acquisitions tax group. Mr. Krnić received a Master of Physics from Oxford University.

Matt Simoni is a vice president in the valuation and strategic analysis group and is based in our Providence office. Prior to joining Providence in 2014, Mr. Simoni worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the transaction services group. Mr. Simoni holds his Bachelor of Science with dual majors in finance and accounting from Boston College.

Jennifer Martin is a Vice President and Controller in the finance group and is based in our Providence office. Prior to joining Providence in 2009, Ms. Martin worked at Bain Capital and Ernst and Young. Ms. Martin received a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accountancy from Bryant University and a Bachelor of Science in finance and economics from Providence College. She is a CFA charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant.

Jessica Ribeiro is a vice president in our Providence office, where she focuses on human resources activities. Prior to joining Providence in 2010, Ms. Ribeiro was a senior human resources generalist for J. Jill and a human resources specialist for TJX. Ms. Ribeiro received a Bachelor of Business Management and Bachelor of Business Administration from Johnson & Wales University.

Lauren Kwak is a senior associate based in our New York office, where she focuses on business development activities. Prior to joining Providence in 2015, Ms. Kwak worked as an investment banking analyst in the financial institutions group and M&A group at Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong. Ms. Kwak received a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College.

Keri Magner is a senior associate based in our Providence office, where she focuses on business development activities. Prior to joining Providence in 2012, Ms. Magner was a senior associate at Raptor Capital Management, where she focused on investor relations, marketing and fundraising. Alba Topallaj is a senior associate based in our London office, where she focuses on business development activities. Prior to joining Providence, Ms. Topallaj was an investment professional at Advent International and TowerBrook Capital Partners. Previously, Ms. Topallaj was an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan. Ms. Topallaj graduated from the Hunstman Program at the University of Pennsylvania, receiving a Bachelor of Science from the Wharton School and a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Arts and Sciences.

Sarah Conde is deputy general counsel based in our New York office, where she focuses on legal and compliance matters. Prior to joining Providence in 2014, Ms. Conde was an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and Goodwin Procter LLP, where she advised investment advisers and private funds. Aaron Fine is an associate general counsel based in our Providence office, where he focuses on legal and compliance matters. Prior to joining Providence in 2015, Mr. Fine was an associate at Ropes & Gray LLP, where he advised investment advisers and private funds. Arthi Sridharan is an associate general counsel based in our New York office, where she focuses on legal and compliance matters. Prior to joining Providence in 2018, Ms. Sridharan was an associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell, LLP since 2014. Ms. Sridharan received a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.

Barry Allen is an operating partner of Providence. Prior to joining Providence in 2007, Mr. Allen was executive vice president of operations at Qwest Communications International, retiring in June 2007.

Before joining Qwest in August 2002, Mr. Allen was president of Allen Enterprises, a private equity investment and management company he founded. Previously, he served as president of Chicago-based Ameritech Corp., where he began his career in 1974 and held a variety of executive appointments including president and CEO of Wisconsin Bell and president and CEO of Illinois Bell. Before starting at Ameritech, Mr. Allen served in the U.S. Army where he reached the rank of captain.

Mr. Allen currently serves on the boards of CDW and OEConnection. He also serves on the boards of Bell Canada and the Fiduciary Management family of mutual funds and serves on the board of trustees of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee.

Tony Ball has been a senior advisor with Providence since 2012. He was chairman of Kabel Deutschland from 2005 and led the company’s management and business transformation and IPO in 2010, culminating in the sale of KDG to Vodafone in 2013.

Prior to joining KDG, he served as CEO of BSkyB, the largest pay- TV broadcaster in Europe where he led the company through its strongest period of growth by doubling the subscriber count and converting the entire subscriber base from analog to digital. Previously, he was the CEO of the News Corporation/Liberty Media joint venture, Fox/Liberty Networks, which included the FX Networks, Fox Sports Net and over 20 regional sports channels throughout the US. He also served as president of Fox Sports International where he oversaw the creation and the operation of sports television businesses in North America, Latin America, Asia and Australia.

Mr Ball is a non-executive director of BT Group, the global communications services company and chairman of Portland Communications. He is also chairman of Ambassador Theatre Group and Bitė.

Mr Ball received a Master of Business Administration from Kingston University and has been awarded honorary doctorates from both Middlesex University and Kingston University. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Television Society.

Peter Chernin is a senior advisor of Providence and the CEO of The Chernin Group (TCG), which he founded in 2009. TCG manages, operates and invests in businesses in the media, entertainment and technology sectors. Its assets include Chernin Entertainment an entertainment production company; a majority stake in CA Media, an Asia-based media investment company; Otter Media, a venture formed with AT&T to invest in and launch global over-the-top video services, which oversees a portfolio of businesses including Fullscreen Media, Ellation, Gunpowder & Sky, and Hello Sunshine; and strategic investments in U.S.-based technology and media companies including Pandora, SoundCloud, Headspace, Flipboard, Scopely, Medium and Barstool Sports.

Prior to starting TCG, Mr. Chernin served as President and Chief Operating Officer of News Corporation, and Chairman & CEO of the Fox Group from 1996-2009, where he oversaw diversified global operations spanning five continents. Before his 1996 appointment, he served for four years as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fox Filmed Entertainment. From 1989 to 1992, Mr. Chernin was President of Entertainment for the Fox Broadcasting Company.

Mr. Chernin sits on the Board of American Express and serves as Co-Chair of UC Berkeley’s Board of Visitors. He is Chairman and Co-Founder of Malaria No More, a non-profit dedicated to ending deaths due to malaria. He previously served on the Board of Directors of News Corporation, Fox, Pandora, Twitter, and DirecTV.

Mr. Chernin holds a B.A. in English from UC Berkeley.

Laura Desmond is an operating partner of Providence and is also the founder and CEO of Eagle Vista Partners, a strategic advisory and venture investing firm serving the marketing, technology and digital industries.

Ms. Desmond is a highly regarded industry game changer, a true innovator and the lead architect in reinventing and building the agency of the future, using data, content and analytics.

Prior to joining Providence in 2018, Ms. Desmond was chief revenue officer of Publicis Groupe and chief executive officer of Starcom Mediavest Group, the #1 media and marketing services agency brand globally for five straight years under her leadership. While CEO, the business at SMG more than doubled and successfully pivoted to a digitally centric organization focused on emerging channels, data, analytics and content. She led a diverse team of 6,500 employees across more than 100 offices who bring unconventional thinking and a passion for the art and science of marketing strategy, media investment, digital, data and analytics.

Ms. Desmond has worked with some of the biggest and most successful marketers worldwide, including Samsung, Coca-Cola, Visa, Bank of America, P&G, and a host of emerging online consumer brands such as Airbnb, Spotify, EA Sports and Twitter. In her work, Ms. Desmond has forged a new breed of partnership with media companies such as Google, Facebook, Acxiom, Comscore and Tencent.

Ms. Desmond is a past chair of the Advertising Council and serves on the board of DoubleVerify as lead director. She also serves on the boards of Adobe Systems and Syniverse Technologies.

Sanjeev Dheer is a senior advisor of Providence Strategic Growth and CEO and founder of CENTRL. Prior to CENTRL, Mr. Dheer was co-founder and CEO of CashEdge, a financial technology company which was acquired by Fiserv in 2011. He continued as President of the CashEdge Division of Fiserv after the acquisition. Previously, Mr. Dheer was a partner at McKinsey & Co. During his tenure at McKinsey, he served financial institutions on a range of strategy and operational issues and was its leader for global e-commerce practice. Previously, Mr. Dheer served as a systems analyst and internal IT consultant at the United Nations Development Program. Mr. Dheer received a Master of Business Administration from Stanford Business School and a Master of Arts from St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi.

David K. Duffell is a senior advisor of Providence Equity. Prior to joining Providence in 2016, Mr. Duffell was a partner in the corporate department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, an international law firm and principal outside counsel to Providence. Mr. Duffell has represented Providence and its principals for over 30 years. At Weil, Mr. Duffell focused his practice on representing Providence and other major private equity funds in connection with their domestic and international investments, mergers and acquisitions and financing activities.

Mr. Duffell has been ranked as a leading lawyer for Private Equity: Buyouts by Chambers Global and Chambers USA and has been named a “Best Lawyer” for corporate law and leveraged buyouts and private equity law by Best Lawyers.

Mr. Duffell received a Juris Doctor and Master of Taxation from Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University. Mr. Duffell is a member of the bar of Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Florida.

Alexis Egan is a senior advisor of Providence Strategic Growth. Ms. Egan is currently a director of Anju Software. Prior to joining Providence in 2014, Ms. Egan had been at Garvin Hill since its inception in 2009. Prior to joining Garvin Hill, she was an executive director at CIBC. Prior to that, Ms. Egan was an associate at TA Associates, a Boston-based growth equity firm focused on technology investments. Previously, Ms. Egan was a financial analyst at the investment banking firm Alex. Brown. Ms. Egan received a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College.

Jim Eisenstein is an operating partner of Providence and currently chairman and chief executive officer of Grupo TorreSur (GTS), a Latin American focused wireless tower company. Formed in October 2010, GTS is the largest independent wireless tower company in Brazil, owning and operating over 6,000 towers throughout the country.

Prior to co-founding GTS, Mr. Eisenstein was chairman and chief executive officer of Optasite Holding Company, Inc. Mr. Eisenstein took over Optasite at the end of 2003 and transformed the company from a struggling wireless services provider into the nation’s second largest privately held wireless tower company, with nearly 600 strategically located towers in the United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Under Mr. Eisenstein, the company raised over $250 million in equity and debt financing and grew to $23 million in tower cash flow. In July 2008, Optasite was sold to SBA Communications in a transaction valued at over $450 million, a multiple of 19.5 times tower cash flow.

Prior to joining Optasite, Mr. Eisenstein was chief executive officer of Concourse Communications Group LLC, the leading developer and operator of in-building distributed antenna systems in the nation’s largest transportation venues, including New York (LaGuardia, Kennedy and Newark Airports, the Lincoln and Holland Tunnels, the New York/New Jersey Port Authority Bus Terminal and PATH train stations), as well as international airports in Detroit, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh and Toronto. Mr. Eisenstein joined Concourse Communications in 2003 and directed the successful sale of the company late that year.

Prior to joining Concourse, Mr. Eisenstein was chief development officer of American Tower Corporation, the largest owner and operator of wireless and broadcast towers in North America. Mr. Eisenstein’s primary responsibilities were to seek out and oversee all acquisition and development opportunities for the company. Mr. Eisenstein co-founded American Tower in 1995 and previously held the position of chief operating officer of the company. After growing the company to more than 16,000 towers, Mr. Eisenstein retired from American Tower in 2003.

Before co-founding American Tower, Mr. Eisenstein was a partner and chief operating officer of Amaturo Group, Ltd. from 1990 to 1995. Amaturo Group owned and operated 11 radio stations in some of the nation’s fastest growing markets, including West Palm Beach, San Bernardino, Austin and Nashville. The stations were sold in 1995 to American Radio Systems (the predecessor company to American Tower) for $117.5 million.

From 1988 to 1990, Mr. Eisenstein was deputy general counsel of Home Shopping Network. As deputy general counsel, Mr. Eisenstein was responsible for all transactional work of the company. Among many other transactions, Mr. Eisenstein led the acquisition of eleven television stations, all in top fifteen markets throughout the United States.

Prior to joining Home Shopping Network, Mr. Eisenstein was an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom from 1986 to 1988 and at Vinson & Elkins from 1984 to 1986.

Mr. Eisenstein is a graduate of Georgetown University and received a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School and a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Mark Emkjer is a senior advisor of Providence Strategic Growth. Mr. Emkjer is a health care executive with over 35 years of experience in the provider, health plan and life sciences sectors. He is a seasoned CEO who has created and implemented strategies to significantly improve performance while maximizing shareholder value. He is known in the industry for M&A, turnarounds and rapid growth situations.

Mr. Emkjer most recently served as CEO of WebMD Health Services. He led the turnaround that included a rewrite of the strategy, assembly of the executive team and execution of various operating tactics that led to significant growth and numerous high profile sales. Prior to WebMD, Mr. Emkjer was the CEO and board member at Accelrys (NASDAQ: ACCL) from 2003 to 2009. There he led the effort to spin out the parent Pharmacopeia and assumed the corporate shell under the name of Accelrys, specializing in life sciences software and services. Accelrys was burning significant cash and suffering significant operating losses until Mr. Emkjer and his team reversed the losses and began generating impressive cash flow and operating profit. Prior to Accelrys, he was the president and COO of Sunquest, a leading provider of clinical data management, where he helped significantly bolster the company’s profit and shareholder equity over the course of three years, culminating in the sale of the company to MISYS PLC for $404 million. Mr Emkjer also served as CEO and board member of Pace Health Management Systems, a clinical decision support provider which was sold to 3M Corporation under his tenure. He also served as CEO of HCC, a leading international provider of financial solutions to the healthcare industry. Mr. Emkjer began his career at American Hospital Supply serving in seven operating roles.

Mr. Emkjer recently served on the board of inContact (NASDAQ: SAAS), which recently sold for over $1 billion. He served on all three committees, plus the negotiating committee associated with the sale. He also served on the board of Hooper Homes, NYSE which most recently merged with Provance. Mr. Emkjer currently serves on the board of directors at Care Payment, The Rancho Santa Fe Foundation and most recently joined the board of Anju Software Inc. He has also been a lecturer at the University of California’s Rady School of Management addressing MBA candidates on various topics to include turnarounds, leadership and the healthcare industry. Mr. Emkjer received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida Atlantic University.

Bob Farrell is a senior advisor of Providence Strategic Growth and chairman and CEO of GlobalTranz. Mr Farrell has over 30 years of experience and a proven track record of building high-growth software and technology driven companies.

Prior to GlobalTranz, Bob served as president and CEO of Kewill. Kewill is a global leader in multimodal transportation management software, providing organizations with a comprehensive end-to-end platform for managing the complexities of transportation, logistics and trade compliance.

Prior to joining GlobalTranz, Mr. Farrell served as president and CEO of Kewill. Kewill is a global leader in multimodal transportation management software, providing organizations with a comprehensive end-to-end platform for managing the complexities of transportation, logistics and trade compliance.

Prior to Kewill, Mr. Farrell served as president and CEO of EDGAR Online, a leading global provider of XBRL software, services and data that was acquired by RR Donnelley & Sons (NASDAQ: RRD) in August of 2012. Prior to EDGAR Online, Mr. Farrell served as chairman and CEO of Metastorm, a leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM) enterprise software and solutions that was acquired by Open Text (NASDAQ: OTEX) in February of 2011. Mr. Farrell also served as president of Mercator Software, a provider of enterprise application integration solutions, COO of LeadingSide, a global provider of unstructured data solutions, and held executive management positions at Computer Horizons Corp., a provider of IT services and solutions.

Mr. Farrell also is an experienced non-executive outside board member. He currently serves on the board of Billtrust, the premier provider of Payment Cycle Management solutions, and Kitchen Brains, a pioneer and global leader in the development and deployment of integrated, end-to-end, wireless M2M networking solutions and SaaS applications for the commercial kitchen and food service industry. Previously, Mr. Farrell served on the board of FolioDynamix, an award winning SaaS provider of investment management programs and wealth management platform solutions to financial services organizations that was acquired by Actua (NASDAQ: ACTA) in November of 2014, and on the board of I.D. Systems (NASDAQ: IDSY), a leading global provider of wireless solutions.

Mark Hatton is a senior advisor of Providence Strategic Growth. Mr. Hatton was CEO of Core Security through its successful exit to K1 Capital. Previously, Mr. Hatton was president of North America for Sophos, during which time he helped build the company to become one of the largest private security companies in the market. He has over 25 years of experience in building and leading successful technology companies in highly competitive markets. Mr. Hatton received a Master of Business Administration from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts from Westfield State University.

Peter Hoenigsberg is a senior advisor of Providence, where he focuses on building the information services portfolio and on Providence Strategic Growth. Prior to joining Providence in 2013, Mr. Hoenigsberg was CEO of Decision Resources Group, a successful Providence investment sold to the Piramal Group in June 2012.

Mr. Hoenigsberg has been a leader in the publishing industry for 25 years, and has held various senior executive positions with the Thomson Corporation, Harcourt, and Addison-Wesley / Pearson. Prior to joining Decision Resources Group, he was an operating partner with private equity firm Castanea Partners, and also served as president and CEO of Harcourt’s largest and most profitable division, the Worldwide Scientific, Technical and Medical Group. Before that, Mr. Hoenigsberg served at the Thomson Corporation where he ran the International and Media Group for ITP (now Cengage / Thomson Learning).

Educated in South Africa and the United Kingdom, Mr. Hoenigsberg is a past member of the executive board of the International Association of Scientific, Technical and Medical Publishers, the executive committee of the International Division of the American Publishers Association and the executive council of the British Publishers Association.

Ben Kaplan is a senior advisor of Providence Strategic Growth. Mr. Kaplan has more than 20 years of experience building high-growth SaaS and fintech companies.

Most recently, Mr. Kaplan was president and CEO of CashStar, a leading provider of mobile prepaid and digital gift card solutions. Over the course of his leadership, he drove revenue growth by over 400% and significantly increased profitability, culminating in its sale to Blackhawk Network in 2017. Prior to CashStar, Mr. Kaplan was chief operating officer at Cartera Commerce, a leading provider of card-linked marketing and affiliate advertising solutions acquired by Rakuten. Earlier in his career, he held executive and leadership positions in marketing and product management at KNOVA Software (acquired by Consona), North Systems, Broadbase Software (IPO) and Commerce One (IPO). Mr. Kaplan received a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College.

Jim Moran is a senior advisor of Providence Strategic Growth. Mr. Moran has over 23 years of experience scaling technology companies into large organizations achieving four successful liquidity events. Prior to joining Providence in 2018, Mr. Moran was a general partner at North Bridge Venture Partners investing in early-stage & growth equity companies. He delivered exceptional returns with exits at Paydiant (PayPal), Confer (Carbon Black), WP Engine ( Silver Lake) & eRecruit (Symphony). Previously, Mr. Moran was CEO of Covergence Networks, a developer of leading edge software-based session border controllers and Unified Communications applications to global 1000 enterprises. Jim successfully engineered the acquisition of Covergence by Acme Packet (NASDAQ:APKT) in May of 2009. Prior to Covergence, Jim was a co-Founder of edocs, Inc. which became the leading provider of web self-service and online billing & payment solutions to the Fortune 500, and was acquired by Siebel Systems in 2005. Additionally, Jim was an early investor, board member & COO of Virtusa (NASDAQ:VRTU) which grew from a standstill in 1998 to a global leader of information technology services and over $450 million in revenue. Mr. Moran serves on the boards of WP Engine, erecruit, Outsystems, and Carbon Black. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Northeastern University.

Admiral Mike Mullen is a senior advisor of Providence and former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the United States government’s principal military advisor. Considered perhaps one of the most influential chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in history, Admiral Mullen takes a fresh approach to the most important issues of the 21st century—including America's global positioning and how business trends and the economic health of the U.S. directly impact our national security.

Admiral Mullen was widely recognized as an “honest broker” in his key leadership roles as the top military advisor to two presidents—Barack Obama and George W. Bush— as well as to the Secretary of Defense and the National Security Council. He continues to maintain strong relationships with leaders around the globe. He led the military during a critical period of transition, overseeing the end of the combat mission in Iraq and the development of a new military strategy for Afghanistan. He advocated for the rapid development and fielding of innovative technologies, championed emerging and enduring international partnerships, and advanced new methods for combating terrorism—all of which directly culminated in the elimination of Osama bin Laden. He was the 32nd Vice Chief of Naval Operations.

Today he shares with audiences his deep experience in leading change in complex organizations, executive development and succession planning, diversity implementation, crisis management, strategic planning, budget policy, congressional relations, risk management, technical innovation and cyber security.

Admiral Mullen is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School, received a Master of Science in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School and graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1968.

Soha Nashaat has close to three decades of global financial services experience and is one of the most prominent businesswomen of her generation in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Prior to joining Providence as a senior advisor, Ms. Nashaat most recently served as strategic advisor to the executive chairman of Shuaa Capital, a leading Middle East investment bank. She also served as a board member of Gateway Investment Management Services – a DFSA regulated entity as well as Shuaa Capital Saudi Arabia.

Previously, Ms. Nashaat built and expanded Barclays Wealth footprint in the Middle East bringing Barclays global capabilities to the region starting in 2006 as CEO for the MENA region. Until July 2016, Ms. Nashaat also served as a member of the Board of Directors of Barclays Bank Suisse S.A.

During this time, Ms. Nashaat received various accolades including being named Woman Banker of the Year and featuring prominently in the Financial Times list of Leading Business Women in the Arab World, as well in the Financial News Top 100 Women in Finance. She also ranked 23rd in Arabian Business Magazine’s listing of the World’s 100 Most Powerful Arab Women in 2011.

Prior to this Ms. Nashaat held a variety of roles at Merrill Lynch in starting in 1990 in New York followed by postings in Buenos Aires and London. Her roles included head of the offshore Middle East and non-resident Indian group – overseeing London, Geneva and Monte Carlo. During this time she also created the Institutional Client Group, covering small and mid-cap institutions in partnership with Institutional Sales. Prior to that she was relocated from New York to Buenos Aires where she served as deputy office manager for the ‘Southern Cone’, with bankers located in Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. She started her career at Merrill Lynch in New York where she was responsible for both global sales and marketing for the Merrill Lynch Asset Management offshore funds.

Ms. Nashaat also sits on the Board of Foundation for Renewable Energy & Environment – a U.S. based non-profit, as well as the International Committee for Barnard College, Columbia University. Currently she also serves as a member of the advisory board for the Beirut Institute – a regional think tank.

Dick Parsons is a senior advisor of Providence and former chairman of Citigroup. He is also the former chairman and CEO of Time Warner. Before joining Time Warner in 1995, Mr. Parsons was chairman and CEO of Dime Bancorp. Previously, he was the managing partner of New York law firm Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler. Mr. Parsons has held various positions in state and federal government, serving as counsel to Nelson Rockefeller and as a senior White House aide under President Gerald Ford.

Mr. Parsons is currently a director of Estée Lauder Companies and Lazard Freres, and is chairman of the Apollo Theatre Foundation. Most recently, Mr. Parsons served as the interim CEO of the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team. Mr. Parsons received a Juris Doctor from Union University's Albany Law School and his undergraduate education from the University of Hawaii.

Marc Thompson is a senior advisor of Providence Strategic Growth and currently CFO of PaySimple, the leading service commerce platform for over 15,000 companies across the country. Mr. Thompson has over 25 years of investment banking, private equity and operational experience. Prior to PaySimple, he was co-head of investment banking at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., where he led the firm’s technology investment banking practice. Previously, Mr. Thompson was a managing director at CIBC Capital Partners, where he served on several portfolio company boards, advising on acquisitions and debt financings. He was also managing director at CIBC World Markets, where he initially formed a software and services investment banking team that executed over 120 financing and M&A transactions valued in excess of $15 billion. Mr. Thompson received a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College.

Kevin Watson is a senior advisor of Providence Strategic Growth and currently CEO of Netsurion, a leading provider of cloud-managed IT security services that protect small- and medium-sized business’ information, payment systems and on-premise public and private Wi-Fi networks from data breaches and other risks posed by hackers. From 1998 through 2014, Mr. Watson was the co-founder and managing director of C/max Capital. While at C/max Capital, Mr. Watson led the firm’s investments in About.com (taken public then sold to Primedia), Adjoined Consulting (sold to Kanbay), Verid (sold to EMC), Concordia (sold to Kadmon) and KMC Software. He helped co-found KMC Software, a SaaS-based recruiting tool, in 2009, and led the company’s product launch in 2011. In 2003, Mr. Watson took over as chairman and CEO of Verid following C/max’ investment in the company. Verid was a SaaS-based application the provided remote identity verification services to financial institutions. He led the company’s sale to RSA, the security division of EMC. Mr. Watson also served as the acting-CFO of About.com, leading the company’s $86 million initial public offering and helped About.com form its business-to-business unit as the CEO of About Industry. Prior to C/max, Mr. Watson worked as an investment banker in the technology groups of Dean Witter Reynolds and UBS Securities in New York. He received a Bachelor’s of Science in engineering from Cornell University.

Ben O’Connor is a Vice President focused on public equities and is based in our Providence office. Before joining Providence in 2018, Mr. O’Connor was a Vice President at Coatue Management where he focused on investments in enterprise software, mobile applications, online marketplaces and consumer brands. Previously, he was a Senior Associate at Summit Partners and an investment banking Analyst with the M&A group at Houlihan Lokey. Mr. O’Connor received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.

Jill Wittenborn is a senior associate on the Providence Strategic Growth team and is based in our Kansas City office. Prior to joining Providence in 2018, Ms. Wittenborn was an investment banking associate at Barclays. Previously, she was a director at Wealth-X, a SaaS information technology startup, where she was responsible for scaling research, product and client management teams. Ms. Wittenborn received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts from Bates College.
